The goal of this choreography project is to improve our Salsa footwork, arm styling, body movement, musicality, and physical fitness through repetitive training over a 6-month period. Although this is a solo routine, all of this training will translate to improving your partner dancing skills as well. *PERFORMING IS OPTIONAL*

In-person classes on Sundays 7:00-9:00 PM, starting September 12, 2021 @Studio K Dance & Fitness
Warm Up | Increase our body's core temperature and increase blood flow to get our bodies pliable for dancing.
Mobility | Move our spine, shoulders, hips, and ankles through full range of motion to prepare the body for dancing.
Body Isolations & Dynamic Stretches | Lengthen muscles and relieve tension while awakening your body movement.
Theme of the Month | From refreshing our fundamentals to endurance training, the goal of this choreography project is to train our Salsa Dance skills to improve our footwork shines, styling, body movement, dance conditioning and musicality through the repetitive practice of a fun Salsa Dance routine.
Cool Down & Stretch | Enhance recovery and increase flexibility and mobility.

After you sign up for the class you will receive a link that will take you to our online dance studio. During your membership, you will have access to all of our online classes.
Our current classes are all pre-recorded or replays of our in-studio classes. Live online lessons require both students and teachers to be online during the same time as lessons are conducted real-time. We hope to offer live online classes in the future.

The only way to find out is to come give it a try! If you find it too challenging or you are not 100% satisfied after the first class, then I will give you a full refund.
We will cap the in-person classes to 25 members. Online membership will be unlimited.
We will be staying current with local health agency recommendations for precautions related to COVID. As of September 6, 2021 we recommend wearing masks.
You will have access to the replay online for you to make-up any classes that you miss.
This class is for solo footwork otherwise known as Shines. Solo practice is key to improving dance skills that can be applied when partner dancing, such as footwork, arm styling, body movement, musicality, timing, and conditioning.
We will be closed on Sunday, December 26, 2021 for the Christmas Holiday.
Monthly tuition includes the cost of the choreography, in-person classes, online classes, private Facebook group, and performances. Tuition is the same amount each month regardless if there are 5 classes or 3 classes within that month. We do not prorate for holidays, or missed classes. This works out to about $10 per hour of in-studio classes over the 6-month period.
Yes! I will be asking each member about personal preference when is comes to style and color. Costumes range from $100-$200.
You are welcome to join late with the following requirements: purchase the online choreography project when it becomes available and catch up before joining the in-person class.
